Wear 100% ("we", "us", "our") operates wearhundredpercent.com, a marketplace that helps you discover clothing made from plastic-free, natural fibres. We don't manufacture or sell the products listed on the site directly — we link you to brands' own websites to complete any purchase. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the site, why, and what rights you have over it.
The data controller is Wear Hundred Percent. If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at admin@wearhundredpercent.com.
If you create an account, we collect your email address and password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text). If you tell us your region (UK, US, EU, or Other) — either when prompted after your first sign-in or later in Settings — we store that against your profile so we can show you relevant currencies and understand where our customers are based.
If you save a product, we store the product details (name, brand, price, image, and the page it came from) against your account so your wishlist persists across visits.
If you join our mailing list, we collect the email address you provide.
When you click through to a brand's website from a product page, we log that click — including which product, which brand, and (if you're signed in) your saved region — so we can understand which brands and products are popular and, where we have a commercial relationship with a brand, attribute the referral. If you're not signed in or haven't set a region, this is logged as "unknown" rather than guessed.
We use your browser's local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember things like your login session and whether you've dismissed a pop-up. Our hosting provider may also log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and performance purposes.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
If you're in the UK or EU, we rely on the following legal bases under UK/EU GDPR:
We keep this deliberately minimal. We don't run third-party advertising trackers. We use your browser's local storage to remember your login session, your saved region preference, and whether you've already seen certain pop-ups — this data stays on your device and isn't shared with ad networks. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data, though this will sign you out and reset preferences.
| Recipient | What they get | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase (our database & authentication provider) | Account, profile, wishlist, and click data | They host our database and handle sign-in on our behalf, under their own data processing terms |
| Brand partners you click through to | Aggregated or individual click/referral data, where we have an affiliate or tracking relationship with that brand | To track referrals for commission purposes and understand demand |
| Affiliate networks (e.g. Awin, ShareASale, where used) | Click and referral data needed to attribute a sale to us | Required for us to earn commission and for brands to track where customers came from |
| Regulators or authorities | Whatever is legally required | Where we're required to disclose data by law |
We do not share your data with anyone for their own independent marketing purposes.
We keep account and profile data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you return. You can request deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below). Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Click/referral logs are kept for as long as reasonably needed for the commercial and analytical purposes described above, after which they're deleted or aggregated so they no longer identify you.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
If you're a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@wearhundredpercent.com. You can also update your region and account details directly in Settings, or delete your account from there.
Our service providers, including Supabase, may process and store data outside your home country. Where this involves transferring personal data out of the UK or EU, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Wear 100% is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
We rely on Supabase's security infrastructure, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, as the site adds new features. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. If changes are significant, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice on the site.
